Rau Raider RY1.1

The RY1.1. is our first big-bore Raider Retro. Based on the Manfred Rau designed frame, the RY1.1 uses a Yamaha FJ1100 powerplant, and is expected to weigh-in at around 200kg, providing excellent power-to-weight ratio and bags of wheel-spinning torque. Entirely hand-built, by the Raider team, this bike made its début at the Melbourne Bike Expo and once completed will be fully road legal and ready to abuse. The RY1.1 should prove an ultimate Cafe Racer as well as benefit from being a sound investment. A genuine Rau is hard to find, let alone one built to this standard, and its value will increase no differently to all the similarly sought-after 80's designers such as Moto-Martin, Nico Baker, Egli, etc

FOR SALE

$27,500.00

Built by Raider Motorsports, Coffs Harbour N.S.W. http://www.raidermotorsport.com.au/portfolio/rau-raider-ry1-1/

Anyone got a spare $27,500 they don't need?  -to give to me that is, not to buy it for yourself.

"It's a fine, fine line between pleasure and pain" - the late great Chrissy Amphlett & Divinyls. Never truer than when you're pushing hard on the bike. A good song to keep in the back of your mind.
