first mods

While awaiting for shims and oil temperature gauge (place for it is where this white paper disc is) I started drilling and wiring....
Volt meter and 12V power socket in place.....

Hey Karol,

Nice work there!  I put almost the same power setup in the same place as you did:



I use the top port to power my dash-mounted iPhone for navigation and the bottom one to power/charge up things in my tank bag (electric razor, small laptop, camera) while I'm riding.

I can't tell how deep those sockets go or what the connector setup is like on the bottom, but I found that things got pretty tight in the fairing.  I bent the spade connectors on both so the whole setup was shallower and it juuuust fit in there!

I like the voltage gauge!  Where did you get that?  Brand/model?  Part number?

Ron,  I am almost sure that I will not see all the gauges while driving. Not without bending myself.
Don't know yet for sure, panel still waiting on desk for oil temperature gauge......

Today I received shims and just finished with valves.

I just finished fight for today....

I spend over one hour removing exhaust gaskets from engine. I believe that they were there since new.....
Now engine is ready for new exhaust studs.

Also after almost two hours fight with one bolt in sump pan....  replaced my old rusty oil cooler, for another one in really  good condition.

That was good day
