Hi guys...

Will the plastic from a 1986 fit on a 1988 model?

Other than cosmetic differences will it all fit?

Thanks
Scott

Hi Scott.
The fairing is different on the '88 than the '86.  It is larger and the mounts are different.  All other plastics should be interchangeable (side panels, lower fairing cowling and rear fender cover).

Hi Dean

I am rebuilding the 88 I have but can get a 86 parts bike.
The plastic on the 86 is much better (prefer the red and white anyway)
The plastic on the 88 is very bad.

Is it possible to make the 86 fit?
Mod the front clip a bit?

Scott.

I wonder if the frame, light, plastics from the earlier bike would all just swap to the later frame.
