1988 FJ1200  3BC  (From frame number)

Top = Yamaha  Wet Pale Brown (WPB)
Stripe = Yamaha Metallic Blue-Green (8CM)
Smaller stripe = Yamaha Very Dark Blue Metallic (I think) (0677) (VDBM9)
Base = Yamaha Black YB

Took a lot of finding and the WPB is not available or listed in the US AFAIK.

I'll upload a better photo of the colours when the sun comes up. The Brown looks more silver to me.... :wacko3:

Hi Richard

I wondered what the colour name was for the 92 bikes.

As a temporary job I used some paint I had from my 94 Nissan Safari (Patrol) It is not quite as "gold" as the OEM paint but will do for the repaired chin fairing until I can find a closer alternative.

are the colours on this decal the same as those you describe above ?

Still thinking of something..................
