Marsh,

I figured I'd do something constructive with my free time during this two week training course.  Intended to assemble the FJ1200 engine and get in back in the frame, and work on getting the drag bike chassis set up and mods done.

I should have just planned to spend my time in the strip bars or something!!!!

Dude,
What can I say?  :nea:
Hopefully they'll be stupid enough to post videos of themselves on YouTube riding around outside their homes with a street sign in plain view.  :diablo:

The two bikes were dumped on the side of the road.  $300 later (for "towing and impound fees" - talk about a raw deal!  ) I've got them back.  I've been told no signs of the trailer nor the contents.  Getting ready to head out to where the bikes were dumped to see if any of the parts or tools are there too.  They look to be in fairly good shape - only a couple of things bent.  It looks like they were in a hurry - just cut the straps, rolled them off and let them fall.

Updates later.

What a "Welcome to OK, OK. :-( sigh.
Now, you'll have to figure out how to get them home again.
Best wishes for a reasonable conclusion to this nigntmare.

Cheers,
Arnie

That sucks. See that alot with enclosed trailers. "People" take the chance that its a contractors trailer and will be full of tools to sell quick. I'm glad you at least got something back.

Glad you at least got the chassis back!

Now to hope they assume the parts are "just old shit" and dump them also.  The tools and trailer though... likely gone, unfortunately.

Praise the Yamaha Gods for small mercy's.
And I hope you continue to have many years of enjoyment with your FJ's. :yahoo:
