The weather was nice here yesterday (mid-70's) and I had the afternoon free, so I took advantage of it...............

I started in the foothills, on one of my favorite roads through Deer Creek Canyon.  Made my way through Evergreen, and took Squaw-Pass road (which was recently re-paved last year)

Kept going past Mt. Evans and Echo Lake..............and found a nice mountain creek.

I headed further west, and went up and over Loveland Pass on Rt-6.

I used this opportunity to pop in to Loveland Ski Resort to see how much snow they had (It was opening day. They had 3 runs combining to form 1 big run open)

I headed towards Dillon, and hopped back on I-70 to head for home, cause is was getting late in the afternoon. Stopped for gas in Georgetown right at the 170 mile point of the ride..............I made a side jaunt on Rt-6 heading through Clear Creek Canyon into Golden on the way back into town.........................(They have some construction going on in there, and traffic was slow going)

After I arrived home, I finished with a Stout and a soak in the Hot-Tub............................It was the perfect ending to the day.  :good:

Lucky you!

That first picture would be a nice one for the calendar too.

Well those colors on that bike are becoming my favorite. Nice pictures and glad you had a nice ride.

Looking good Alan, with so many of our FJ brothers putting their bikes up for the winter, you are just rubbing salt in to their wounds. Cap't Ron and I went sailing today, the weather was perfect, short sleeves the entire day. Maybe we need a West Coast Winter Rally, I think Steve Moparman is getting a ride organized....
