:hi: Yesterday, I bought and trailered in TWO FJ's...an '85 and an '86...both came from a friend of mine that owns a motorcycle shop in Toronto.

The '85 is in her original colours, in nice shape, with 18,267kms (11,417 miles) on the odometer (not sure if that is factual :unknown: ) and will need very little work to get her back on the road...however, she comes with no ownership, so I need to get her titled here in Ontario Canada or find a good frame with ownership and do a full swap out. A swap out would then become a winter project...no biggy

The '86 has 48,000kms, (30,000 miles), on the odometer (which I think is correct) but is sadly a parts bike that has sat outside, uncovered, for several years with a seized engine...again, no ownership :cray:

She's had quite a bit taken off of her over the years...Carb bank, coils, TCI, generator, rear caliper, left front caliper, side plastics etc, etc. The gas tank is rotted out, although I can salvage the petcock, etc, before scrapping it.

The main reason that I picked her up is for parts to finish off the '86 that sits in my shop...a good windshield, chain guard, rear fender and the wee cover and knob for the choke. Once fitted, I can deliver her to her new owner, a good friend of mine, who intends putting away until next season :good2: but that's another thread

There are still a lot of good salvageable parts left on her, perfect oem seat, starter motor, main fairing, ride side air scoop, right side inner fairing panel, complete front fender, right side front caliper, main gauges, etc, etc...these will all be stripped out and put away in my loft above the garage for future projects or other persons FJ needs :good:

Hahahaha but I will soon be down to two...but I do have eye's on another prospect  Herr Wagar has a much bigger stable than me too hahahahaha

The '85 has a set of Yamaha Track Bars fitted, (engine guards)...First time that I've seen these, they are made from square tube :scratch_one-s_head: It also has a Barnett clutch and Super Trap system hmmm (popcorn)

Yesterday, I flipped the chain guard, rear fender and the wee cover and knob for the choke on to the '86 that is going to my buddies...only need to polish up the windshield, that I took off of the donor '86, and buddies is ready to go :dance2:  :good2:
