Today while cruising the freeway my speedometer was saying  80 ish 85 ish and I was steadily being passed. The limit is 70 and I know most people usually cruise 6 to 10 over if they are pushing it. I had my doubts whether my speedometer was right or not so I came home and put the GPS on the bike. It was saying my speedometer is fast by about 6 MPH. Is there any common issues that cause this? I was thinking tire but I have a stock set up so not sure?

It's just the way they were made. Most bikes usually have an optimistic speedo but the FJ seems more optimistic than most.   :wacko2:  Pete.
