The Blacktop National Car Show in Wichita this weekend. Started at 8:00 this morning with the Blacktop National Poker Run for the American Legion. Right at a 100 mile ride ending at the car show downtown.

The new RPM exhaust sounds and perform great. Slightly rough off idle, but otherwise the FJ runs great with the New exhaust. Definitely sounds different than the Vance & Hines SS2r.

Some fantastic looking iron there . A shame what they did to that mustang though. The Torino was a good looker as well. Great pics. looks like you had a good time there. Big R

Edit to my last post. Did not take a close look at the car, looks like it is dedicated to the military. Sorry to all the vets out there. Big R

Any Aussies notice the similarity between this vehicle and the EK/FB Holden wagon"

... and this one and the XP Falcon Hardtop.

Noel.....While I hadn`t noted your chosen similarities (except that the surfboard was an inappropriate mounting & year reflection), I did have a second take on this one, but then thought the headlights and front end were too far different. The glance had struck me as similar lines to the HK station wagon, (also wondered why he didn`t put consistent finesse into panel finish/alignment).....but generally I think you`re right, the Yanks have been copying many of our styles!
(incidently,....The motor in the blue motorcycle has me stumped.)  :drinks:

Doug,

The car is a Ford Pinto and the Blue motorcycle is a 1941 Indian 441.
