Ouch,  Derek !!  I checked on e bay the other day and there seems that the price is pretty inexpensive. I am going to buy one.

Proper FJ screen ?

Not my experience.  Now I'm not as short as Noel, but I don't find this "letterbox" screen to be anywhere tall enough to give me adequate weather protection, nor for the airflow coming over it to be quiet. 
The "fins" are good to allow you to attach an extension.

thanks Arnie, you saved me a search for this item.  I've about decided the only way to get decent wind protection is to lower the seat. The stock set up is fine for most situations but is less than ideal for a long haul, IMO.
