HI,
I have been a proud owner of a 1989 FJ 1200 for about 7 years now and love the bike. I have owned a few bikes in my 30 years of riding and the Fj is the best but she is getting tired and I need some parts.

My screen is scratched, the speedo has a hiccup at 80 and 100 kms so new speedo too,( i have replaced the cable so that is not the problem),
the screen over the guages is scratched also, and the fuel sender is cactus.

My reserve switch has never worked and would be handy.

I am searching for parts in oz but will be happy to import if necessary.

Love to get in touch with other oz owners to catch up in general.

Hello and Welcome? :hi:

Have you cleaned and oiled the cable?  The speed sensor may need some oil as well.  As for the parts there are plenty of OZ FJ riders here to help you out.

Later, Phil    :bye2:

Greetings from Far North Queensland gregted,

I'm currently restoring an FJ1100 and have not had any luck finding parts in Oz.
I've found good suppliers in UK, Germany and USA.
Welcome aboard, and keep in touch.

Morning and welcome gregted,

As said, quite a few of us scattered around Oz on this list.
Which end of this great brown land are you in?
Parts are available here, but way too expensive especially with the A$ at ~ US$0.92
There are a few US based suppliers that give us excellant prices and good service.

Cheers,
Arnie

Hello there.
Yes I too have found parts a bit hard to find.   My bike was WA police and there are a few at the wreckers over there.  I got a fuel tank and minor bits.  Could be a source if required.   Lots of good stuff on this site and very helpful members too! :drinks:
