Getting the fright I deserved

After some extensive dodgy rewiring last night, incorporating all sorts of ill advised practices, I started my bike and left it idling, went to the back of the garage for a moment and when I turned around I saw this! (It was initially worse than this and coming up through the fairing)

It only took a moment to realise it was vapour (kero) not smoke, but I had already had the fright. The last 3 or 4 times I have fiddled with the wiring I have promised myself this will be the last mod until I rewire it all properly. After last nights jolt I might just do it. But then that would involve taking it off the road...... hmmm, maybe next time.

Great picture Noel!!! After my rewiring I also give it the smoke test. Glad your smoke wasn't wires.  Dave
A pistol is like a parachute, if you need one and don't have one you will never need one again.

When in fear or doubt, scream and shout, run about!!! Kinda stops the heart for a moment, doesn't it?

Noel, I can't work out why you'd want to run it on kero??? It's way more expensive than petrol!  Have you got a stash of power kero hidden away somewhere?   Pete.
