I met up with yamaha fj rider last Sunday and did a little ride in our beautiful neck of the woods. Up Parley's and East canyon and through a couple of small Utah towns, Henefer and Morgan.  Saw a Harley rider scrape his peg, saw some porcupine road kill and some bikini clad girls at East Canyon reservoir.

Pics to come shortly, some of you might recognize the blue Yamaha hat. Sorry there are no pics of the bikini girls, I didn't want to get too pervy.

Great looking 95'. Meeting up with a fellow forum member and riding is always a good time.  :drinks:

Definitely make it to a rally soon so we can gawk at your rare (this side of the pond) FJ.

There's a "pervy" limit here? News to me...

We're not a club. Clubs have rules. Pay dues. Wear hats and shit.

Thanks aviationfred. Until Kurt (yamaha fj rider) told me, I didn't know that the '95 color was never available in the states. I also didn't know that for most years the FJ was only made in one color for a given year. Kurt mentioned that one of the 80s production years, that 2 color schemes were available. It was great meeting and riding with Kurt; I know he kept his speed down so as not to leave me behind, but he did say that my chicken strips were "respectable" on my recently installed radial Avons (he may have been stretching the definition of respectable).

The other cool thing about riding with a forum member was actually getting to see and witness another FJ in action, especially Kurt's bike. He appears to have it pretty dialed in, that Thunderace swing arm painted black is tight! and apparently it has some performance benefits as well. His Galfer looking front rotors were cool to see in person as well.

I would definitely like to make it to the next rally.

Seeing as how some of the top "Most Viewed" pics on this site include 2 well endowed hotties with a loaded bow and a pic of a female golfer apparently kissing a glass penis, I now have a gauge for the limit. Thanks rossi!

Love the pics, it's great seeing different scenery from what we are used to here. Just a quick question, are they Hepco Becker saddlebags on your FJ?

Thanks X-Ray, no, they are soft bags by Nelson Riggs. I like them allot. Easy to take off and put back on with just one strap needed. Multiple compartments with a rigid plastic insert so they retain their shape. They do droop a little, but that doesn't really bother me. I think they're pretty good looking and a good bang for the buck, a little over $100 US.
