I removed the lower cowling for a minor repair on the cowling and this is what I found....

Gave me a pucker when I saw the motor mount bolt sticking out.

See,  rallys are good things. They save lives :good2: :good2: :good2: Good catch Fred.  How hard is it to get those rubber bushing out ?  Those are on my list, 2 in the front and I think 2 in the back (1990).

Already handled it ... not stock fj shock , it was the bushings that go in the lower eye of the penske shock. made out of aluminum and it appears they are only good for a few years. the upper ones I made myself out of steel and are still primo .
all other bushings and brgs are ok and got fresh grease.

pending no other distractions I will be rolling in to willits thursday.
