Hi guys,
I am tired of fighting with the front signals on my sons '85. Anyone have a suggestion for decent replacements? I would prefer non LED so I don't have to deal with the resistance issues.
The sockets in the originals are shot. I have rewired them for the last time.  :dash1:

The one Fred shows is the type I have on my '84. I should have the EMGO part number and a pic; but of course not today when it would be useful.
A little more information - they come in a short stem and a long stem version. The socket is for a 1157 - ie a two filament bulb. That's cool if you can find a use for the alternate filament with the third wire (like maybe a parking light setup). I just bundle up the third wire out of sight in case I do want to try something like that later.

In any case, so far so good into my 3rd season. This is the long stem version. If you want, I can take a better pic tomorrow of the bike to give you a perspective and maybe see a part number on the plastic.

If someone wants to see any images I refer to in posts, first check my gallery here. If no bueno, send me a PM. More than glad to share.
