Pretty impressive, the ping-ping-ping of the GoPro housing skipping along the pavement with no interruption in the video at all.

How good is that "still shot" (one of four at around 06) showing mirror and shattered bits as he hits his head.  I tried to transfer and post just that pic but failed.....Is that possible?

Didn't look anywhere near 140 mph, though.  :nea:

I know exactly where that stretch of I-25 is. Have driven it many, many times.
Very light traffic for daytime at that spot which is odd.  Probably saved him from getting run over 2 or 3 dozen times.

Now they made this a private video... the guy must have gotten embarrassed and changed the privacy setting.

Yup, now it's working again. This morning it wouldn't work on mine or my admin asst's. Said it was a private video.

It looks like he crashed at around 45-50mph.........................nowhere near the speed the video poster claims.....
Still, it shows you why you always pay attention to what's in front of you..............(ie: traffic slowing)

Definitely watch ahead.  All the freakin' rain around here has been a PITA.  Besides the road being flooded when I rode home, yesterday, on the ride in, on my road, a log/tree had fallen across the road in a set of S turns.  Lucky enough to stand the bike up and turn it enough to get by, but just clipped the end with the lower fairing and now have a small crack in the plastic.  Could have been worse.

Wear your gear.

I was initially impressed at how rugged the GoPro camera seemed to be as it skipped along the concrete.

However, while I was messing around with the frames of the video later, I realized that towards the end of the tumble it seems to have lost it's plastic shell and still survived:
