"One point though, on the 3XW does the swingarm bolt pass through the sideplate ?
I thought that was the earlier versions ?"

On the 3xw the swing arm bolt is recessed into the side plates.  All the models all use the same swingarm through bolt, even though the 3xw frame is wider;  because the side plates are recessed this works. Also, the mufflers are not hung on the side plates

It also gives you the ability to get the plates off for maintenance much easier (or cleaning and polishing George :morning2:).

Don't get me wrong for saying this ...but...As painful and disappointing as it was.....

George's crash has proved out to be the best thing that ever happened to that bike.

A true tribute to her owner's positive attributes.

Shit happens in life, success just depends on how you react :good2:

Polishing ????  Did I here polish ?  Not even in the same league as Pat or Leon... Seriously I just clean things up so I can see what I am working on.... There are some mighty fine FJ's out there and mine isn't one of them.  It is just what I own...
