Wide clutch install question

When disassembling my clutch basket I only had #4 or #5 in diagram I did not have both parts. hmm is this why the bike has always slipped I am the second owner. And since I am replacing narrower plate in the far inside with wider do I just throw out #4 and #5 if i had them both anyway . I have the wider clutch plate and new spring on order from RPM.

Thank you please advise I posted this question in repair files before reading not to do so

Robert at RPM answered the question the wider plate takes the place of narrower plate and two other parts.
