Hello everybody and happy winter to all
I have a 17x 3.50 Yamaha front wheel with a 280mm disc on one side and a 20mm hole in the bearings. I am told it will be from a yzf 750r 94-97 and a fzr1000 94-95.Is it worth fitting this up to the front of my 84 fj using 92 lower sliders and gold dot calipers or is this wheel all wrong.
Thanks Chiz

Well, it isn't going to be a "plug and play" operation.

You need to either replace the bearings with some that have 15mm ID, or use bushes in the 20mm ones, then you have to find 298mm (300 will work) brake disks that will bolt to the wheel with the correct offset so they fit in the middle of the calipers.

Once you've done that, you're set to go :-)  (or is that stop?)

ok  Or could bracket be built to accommodate the stock discs for this wheel?

Sure, but it depends on which disks you are calling "stock".
Are you talking about a bracket to relocate the calipers or the disks?
Also, I forgot to mention the speedo drive which may not work with this wheel.
Anything is possible given enough time, skill, and money :-)
