hi folks.when searching for parts for my bike i get about 4 different kinds of 92 fj's.ad,adc,d,dc.
mine has an abs light in dash so i take it that it has abs brakes.thats as much as i know.how can i tell which one i have?

Arnie

It 'should' be on the vin plate on the headstock where its very difficult to see. :-/

The codes are really very simple, so you should be able to figure out which one you have  on your own.

The '92 FJ is the "D" model, those with ABS are "AD" unless they're designated as a California bike (meeting the CA emission regs) which will have that trailing C.

So, if your bike was 1st sold in California and does NOT have ABS, it is a FJDC

I'm only guessing but the 'C' models are probably California and the other designations are with and without ABS.  What's the VIN, we should be able to decipher from there...

So, odds are it's not a California smog model. :mail1:
Do you have an ABS light on the dash, or wheel speed sensors inside the disks?
There, you're done! :good:
