I bought this insert, from the seller whose link I have included, about a year ago and I have to say I am very impressed.  If you ride early in the morning and get fog on the inside of the visor, forget the sprays and chemicals, use this and you will never suffer fog in the visor again.

And no, I am not the seller... :mocking:

Looks like a good price, the wife and I used the same thing but different brand for many years a very good thing, having to wear glasses I use catcrap as well.

I used a fog city a few years ago.  It worked great.  For a while.  Like a year or so.  Then it deteriorated quickly and became a murky mess.  Downside was that it was now permanently affixed to the shied.  Only option was to toss the shield.  I switched to a pinlock shield and inserts.  When the inserts needs to be replaced, you just pop it out get a new one.

I also had a Fog City insert once, worked great for a few months, but it eventually got to where it wouldn't stick to the faceshield at all.

I'll add my endorsement of Pinlock screens. They deserve far more praise than get.
My last replacement screen (HJC) I bought on the net came pre drilled, with little rubber bungs in the holes, for a Pinlock screen. I had not specified it, it just came like that.

I had not heard before of the fog city inners degrading...so far mine has shown no degradation.  I am interested in pinlock inners though, I had not heard of them before, and they look to be the same principle as fog city without the adhesive stuff.

Thanks for the info guys.

:good2: +1 on the pinlock. They are also available in different colors. I like the yellow to reduce glare.

I also use the Pinlock system. Never had a problem with a fogged visor or sticky inserts. The Pinlock insert seals with, what looks like a thin ridge of silicone type substance. I usually use an amber coloured insert but also carry a yellow insert as well. These can be swapped in less than 1 minute to suit the light conditions. For anyone who has similar eye problems to me, the coloured inserts help even out the light conditions. These days, I won't ride without one.  Regards, Pete.   :good2:
