Two carbs cleaned, two carbs in the pot. I got all but one float seal out. Soaking overnight will do it. I got 110 mains in it and 155s for the pilot?
I'm sure they are mikuni jet's. They got a "k" and a square symbol next to the k.




Took off the decals and wet sanded in the sink
The hard part is sanding the red line down to the level of the other paint.
the decal on one side came off easy and the leftover adhesive sanded of the same but the other side,
side only came off in small pieces and I can still see adhesive residue even after leaning into it with 400.




I took the last pass sanding on the rear wheel. I figure to polish after the metalcast cures so I don't get any wax on the wheel before painting.
Ready for masking.

The 155 is the air side of the pilot circuit. I cant really tell but it look like the fuel pilot jet is still installed in the carb on the right as I can see brass down in the hole behind where the e-tube & main jet attached.

Was you that said you used PineSol for a cleaner?  They look pretty good.

Hey Jeff, No, It were'nt me who said it. I searched the web and found it somewhere else. I assumed everybody used it. I bought a couple of bottles of the Surefine brand at the local store and it works but I added a bottle of the real stuff to it for cleaning the second 2 carbs. It turned the batch milky so I don't know whats going on with it. I think the real pine sol works better. The thread I found, showed a guy soaking the whole bank overnight and they had nothing on them at all, without any scrubbing. I had to use a tooth brush and a acid brush on the first two. We'll see.

Might be great stuff in the ultrasonic....I just use Sunlight soap and water so far.  Oh and it (pinesol) smells great

The pine sol works good but if you leave it in to long it starts to etch the aluminum. Turns dark. Also pine sol freezes. I had some in a spray bottle, using it to clean my engine and it froze overnight.
