Hi guys.

Are spending some spare time to look at some new exhaust for my 86'.
Anyone tried Barracuda Exhaust?

The list an bolt-on model on their website.

They aren't cheap and I am not in any hurry to replace them. Will wait and see which price range Randy's system will be at before deciding.
From what I can see this barracuda systems are manufactured in Germany? Thought they were made in Sweden? That would had meant a lot cheap shipping cost for me...
Any word regarding Randy's exhaust by the way?

Cheers
Ken

Update:

I found a Swedish website as well  :good2:

Ken, the final fitment headers arrived a couple of weeks ago but the move has caused me to out the exhust on the back burner for a bit until I can get all situated and be able to do the final test fit.

I am working today, (just stopped for lunch) to get things up off the floor, more boxes unpacked and be able to get started on many projects.

I will be doing the final trail fitment this upcoming week and then hopefully we can go into production and with that I hope to see them just after the first of the year.

A couple of other things to think about, the system is a 4-1 system and there is not drain plug access and they do not tell you want the header is made of other than, "corrosion-resistant construction". The do list the construction of the silencer but not the header.

Yes, you summed up my consurns pretty good. All though it might look nice, its probably not worth it i guess. Have emailed them with questions some time ago, no reply as of now..
Another consurn is the pricing of their systems, in my case the cost was shown to be approx. $1.500 which would be to expensive for me at the moment.

I do look forward to see your final exhaust systems when they are ready, and what different price range each systems will be at. I prefer to buy a direct bolt-on system witch no form of clearing and access issues.

Cheers
