I removed my front brakes and I believe the anti dive unit,,,what a mess.
My questions are the brake hose that goes to the anti dive unit no longer gets used?
How do you plug anti dive unit?
Will it harm the forks being empty of fluid?
I'm going to be replacing springs over the winter.?

Pull the hoses off the AD units, remove the tops but leave the bottoms unless you want to source some block-off plates. Save your $$$ and upgrade to RPM valves. Then later upgrade to 89+ forks and move the RPM valves over for a cleaner look. The Monkey has spoken...

One thing to add...  we found on a friend's bike that the AD units look much better if you install them upside down.  They look like something's missing if you disable them and leave them right side up.  The black knob on top makes it look like some cool adjustment feature instead of a missing part.

Good option, +1 on that.... They do look ugly apart and right side up.... I did not know they can be inverted... Thanks Frank...

Yes I've removed hoses and flushed forks.
I reinstalled the anti dive with black knob on bottom.
So do you just put a shorter bolt where brake line attached to unit to block it off?
I plan on using rpm valves and new springs.
Dumb question but where do the rpm valves go on forks?

It's not dumb if you don't know...  they go inside the fork tubes.   :unknown:

Got any members nearby who can help you out?

The valve goes inside after you follow Randy's instructions to cut the D-rod. Before taking the forks apart set the suggested setting of the dampner to the #2 setting before disassembly. If already apart you can still set it.
