Hello All,

Ok two questions. First on the clutch reservoir there are two allen screws are these the original? and if so what size are they? for some reason neither my American or metric will fit. But I have to say my metric are a crappy set my good ones are at work.

Ok second while going through the bike I noticed a button under the 12v plug on the counsel. It seems to be wired to a unit that's on the sike of the bike next to the chain with some clear hosing coming from either side. Is this a chain oiler that the previous owner installed and if so where does the oil go? one side goes to the chain and the other goes up under the seat and is not hooked to anything.

On a side note carbs should be back today. I will be synching them hopefully tomorrow afternoon. Brakes are bleed and work. Right now I am in process of making my home made synch tool, Thanks George,  in anticipation of the return of my carbs.

Ok as I was typing I got the call. Carbs are ready. and I might add the guy said these are the worse carbs he has ever cleaned and that's why I choose not to tackle this on my own.....and I'm off

The screws are not likely original, mine are Phillips, or the OEM equivalent. The threads are metric so the hex socket should be metric. They tend to strip out, easier to replace with hex sockets. It seems like the PO took the oiler and left the switch and tubing. Most put the oil reservoir under the seat or in the tail. If your bike has pod style air filters then its got plenty of room for extra stuff.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

I think they are 5mm screws. I also replaced mine with tapered hex socket units form Ace Hardware... Also replaced the JIS screws on the switch's.. The only place I want to see JIS screws is in the trash can. There design is OK, its just that most of us do not have or use the proper JIS screwdrivers. As I have my forks apart I am thinking about replacing the JIS's on them also. I have just about eleminated all the JIS's on my bike.

A chain oiler is aftermarket. "yen and yang" on that subject.
