Best overpant bang for the buck?

I need a commuter pant recomendation. Nothing fancy. Something I can quickly throw over my dress pants and take off quickly when coming to the bust stop.I saw some closeout stuff on revzilla for $80. Anything else out there the same or cheaper?

I bought a cheap pair off ebay , sealed seams, elastic waist, and the shin/ankle area has flares that allow you to put them on over boots, and closes with velcro , $20 and very waterproof

I've been using the FirstGear HT overpants for years for my daily commute.  Work great with khakis or whatever underneath.  They are waterproof, for the most part.  I've had to re-treat them once so far.  They have a zip out liner for when it gets really cold.

Also use the HTAir mesh overpants in the warmer temps.  They have a rain liner, but I just use FroggToggs over top of them.  The HTAirs have been crash tested and held up well.

Both pants have full length zippers on each leg and getting them on and off is easy.

I also use the HT Air Overpants and use them year around.  Though the rain/wind liner doesn't provide thermal insulation it does keep me dry and does a great job of cutting the wind.  In the winter months I just put on extra layers underneath, such as poly pro underwear and/or sweat pants, and stay fairly comfortable.  Although, I should add that I very rarely ride below 40^oF (4^o C).
