Vance and Hines, what happened to them

They used to be at the top on performance parts for sport bikes with a wide variety of products, now they only sell cruiser parts? and not much more than mufflers.
I have not kept up on sport bike parts makers for a long time since I dont ride the newer insect bikes and I did not need much for mine.

What happened to them???

I think they're running the "V-Rod" (cough cough) in Pro Stock drag racing.  Don't think they've been doing much else with bikes for a while.
