I'm sure this is already on here somewhere but I can't find it. I'm building my 1100 for the drag strip and I'm looking to save on weight and go with a wider tire at the same time. Is there any 17" wheel that is a direct swap other than a possible rotor swap? And any info on fitting a extended swingarm off of a cbr900rr would be greatly appreciated.

If you're fitting a swingarm off a Honda CBR900RR to your 1100, the easiest rear wheel swap surely must be obvious?

Instead of trying to fit a CBR900 swing arm. Have you considered finding an extended FJ swing arm, or fabricating your own? I have seen FJ swing arms for sale on eBay that have had 2" and 4" sections welded in. IMO The easiest and least expensive would be to Modify a FJ swing arm.

I'm actually going to extend the stock swingarm but if the cbr would fit I have access to it free of cost and I wouldn't have to swap the rear wheel.
