1993 ABs Rear Brake Issue

Hey Guys, I am hoping someone can help me. I lost my rear brake and I replaced the master cylinder. Now I am having a hard time keeping a hard brake. I can bleed the system and it is hard but if you hold the brake it softens up. am I not bleeding the system correctly? is there a specific procedure for the ABS brakes?

The procedure to bleed out the ABS systems will be exactly the same as non-ABS models.  The only difference is that there are two brake lines on the rear ABS system instead of just one.  That makes for two more banjo fittings and the added air they can trap.  In short, the process is the same, you just need to be more persistant to get all the air out.

If you HAVE all the air out and your lever is slowly dropping when you apply pressure, you have a leak somewhere (not likely) and you would see the subsequent loss of brake fluid in the reservoir.
