Hey there,
Where do I find information about replacing the turn signal controller with a solid-state, allowing to replace the turn signals to LEDs?
Thanks,

Eyal

You can use LEDs with your current controller, just get the ones with resistors built in. Or add your own resisters. You don't need much resistance to fool the controller, it is looking for an open circuit (blown filament). Many vehicles have this issue so to keep the LEDs plug and play the suppliers offer bulbs with resistors built in.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

They do make fixed rate flashers that are a plug-in swap for the old style.  Unplug the old, plug in the new, ensure it works, and off you go.

On my other Yamaha replacing the flasher made the autocancel not work any more. The flasher had an extra prong for the cancel signal.

Does the FJ use a more standard flasher?
