Hi All, I have returned. It's been a long tough year, especially with a broken FJ staring at me, forelornly. But that is soon to change. 2 ea FJs going to Modesto for a little one2one time with Randy.
More to follow, I promise. In the meantime, Hi again :good2:

Welcome back Ed. Precisely 1 year and now a duet of Mods. Sounds like your in for a great year ahead with those kind of organisation skills. (popcorn)
Get em' doctored up and get riding again... Happy to see your return.
Glad you are back Ed. You were missed at this year's WCR. I'm sure Randy will get you sorted out. Hope to catch up at the next rally.
Derek
P.S.: Donna says hi. :good2:
Thanks everyone, for all the kind words. I missed being here, among friends.
As I stated earlier, it's been a tough year. First the FJ broke, leaving me stuck in Flagstaff. Eventually got home (trailer ride :ireful:). Then Sue's car went south 3 weeks later. Then I lost a job, found another job, still looking for a REAL job. A few months later, the replacement job started going bad, with layoffs all around. Then a reduced work week. Then a new job, and then my father passed away on July 7 (our wedding anniversary).
So, now I am getting my feet more steady under me, working graveyard shift, and waiting for Randy to sell my Dad's FJ and get my FJ running again.
I hope to a more regular presence here, and maybe even offer my input and even start riding again sometime soon.
Thanks again for all the support, my friends :good2:
Ed
Glad the work situation is looking up :good2:, Condolences on the passing of your father :empathy: ,
look forward to some more spirited times :yahoo:

I wondered why I hadn't seen a post from you in quite some time.....................
Sorry about your year...........sounds an awful lot like the year my wife and I had when we moved to Denver from Phoenix, 2 years ago.
I can relate, cause I lost both my parents that summer................Sorry about your loss. Must be hard to let that FJ go?
Anyway, glad you posted back to keep in contact, and hopefully I'll see you at next year's WCR........... :drinks:
Thanks again to everyone. The FJ I'm selling is a beauty of a bike, but it's not mine.
My Dad often talked of giving it to me to use for parts to keep mine going. I could NEVER DO THAT. It's a beeeeeea-uty of a '90, just like Craig-O's, but stone stock. She lived in the garage her entire life, except for when he was riding it.
Mine is so far from stock that I found the '90 unrideable. Seat too low, shitty stock brakes and OEM type tires. Needs fork & shock work (compared to mine). Always ran like a top, though. The old man was a mechanic for 45 years and KNEW how to make carbs purr.
I could never start over again on the mod-road, and keeping a stock FJ is not an option for me. So, it must go. If Randy doesn't make it move, then I'll post it here and we'll see ..
