Title: Battery Sale
Post by: racerrad8 on July 24, 2013, 04:51:53 PM
One of my vendors is closing out their private label line of batteries; Fire Power. These batteries are made by Yuasa battery and are private label for the vendor.

They are closing out the battery for the 84-90 FJ1100/1200. These are AGM batteries and not standard lead acid batteries.

The have a close out price of $83.97 and they currently have 30 available at this writing.

If you are interested in this battery I will buy some batteries to inventory so they can be ordered online.

I am interested with reducing the weight of the battery. How would these batteries stack against a LI-ION batteries with respect to weight and performance?

A reference for the LI-ION battery can be found at:

These are a private label Yuasa AGM battery, so they are acid fill as well. This battery will be the same weight as the stock one.

For lighter weight and higher cranking amps then the Shorai battery for the FJ is what I recommend and supply.

84-90 Shorai Battery (http://www.rpmracingca.com/proddetail.asp?prod=M%2FC%3AShoraiE)

I have sold several of these for the FJ as well as special orders for other members non-FJ applications and I have yet to hear anything but praise for the product.
