Title: Back to riding
Post by: cobrawide on July 23, 2013, 07:07:03 PM
Hi all

Well after 15 years of not owning a bike and at the tender age of 45 I just bought my first FJ1200. Its a 92 ABS. I remember when I was a kid back in Ireland and I had a Yamaha RD350. Almost every day I would see a guy with a FJ and I would drool at it. Back then I could never afford the bike. Fast forward 25 years and here I am in the US with my FJ1200.

It has a few problems and I am sure I will be asking for help. Glad to have come across this site as I am sure it will be very useful.

So its Summer and time to enjoy riding and stay safe.

Tom

Welcome Tom ! Glad to have you in the mix.  :good2: Please don't hesitate to ask questions  about your bike. Check out the files section. Lots reading in the old "posts".

Thanks for the welcome fellows. I am in Deerfield Illinois. I have not seen a FJ here at all. I wonder how common they are in the US.
