Hi,

Not sure what they are called but I need to get hold of some new rubber chain guides that protect the swingarm ect from the chain?

Would be easier to get if I knew what they were called

I think they are called "2KT-22151-00-00 SEAL,GUARD" . That's the part number for a 1990 FJ. I think there is two different styles so make sure you get the correct one for your year of FJ. No expert, just thinking out load.  :yahoo: I think Randy has some and they are still listed as available from Yamaha at least for the 1990.

Hard to believe that you can't adapt a newer version on to the older swing arm. Also get on e bay and look at other swing arms from other manufactures to see if anything looks like it might adapt.

Sean,

Boats.net says they have the Seal Guard (sells for US$51.00) here:
Index #28 Seal guard, 1991 FJ1200:
http://www.boats.net/parts/search/Yamaha/Motorcycle/1991/FJ1200B/SWING%20ARM/parts.html (http://www.boats.net/parts/search/Yamaha/Motorcycle/1991/FJ1200B/SWING%20ARM/parts.html)

Better call and check, though.

Cheers,
Red

As already mentioned, I do stock the swing arm guide. They are in stock and you will probably see it on Wednesday if you order on Monday.
