Rain riding is ok, its the cross winds I hate, or the first rain for a few weeks in summer

I have ( fond) memories of wet roads, knobby tyres, heavy throttle hand, and roundabouts. These days when raining, I turn on my inbuilt traction control ( back off) and don't have any problems.

Yeah me too. One of my most memorable rides was on tar in the pouring Rain on the DR650 with Knobbies. Educational & Fantastic refreshing fun (& no police!). On the FJ it`s quite a dry affair, a bit boring, cruising only, but still refreshing. Wet days can definitely be better than dry days. IMHO
