Title: Bolt dimensions
Post by: WhiteBeard on June 24, 2013, 01:41:31 PM
Does somebody here know the dimensions of bolt no. 28 below?

The PO changed these into low grade bolts...  :negative:
Too easily stripped... don't ask me how I know.

Is the correct bolt dimension 5.0 mm in diameter and 50 mm length?

Thanks once again,
Nat

:hi: Metric hex head cap screws (bolts) come in two basic grades: 8.8 and 10.9...8.8 is the lesser grade at 116,000 psi tensile strength and 10.9 a higher grade at 150,000 psi tensile strength...different manufacturers will differ to some degree... :good: Guess what, among other things, I sell for a living   :rofl2:...
