Title: Picked up another FJ
Post by: chocker on June 18, 2013, 11:55:26 AM
Hey everyone,
just sold the 86 ambulance. A great bike with a couple of nice mods. I just picked up a 93 model with 2 Givi hard bags and bracket. This bike works amazing compared to the 86. Everything works the way it is supposed to. This is the first FJ that I have seen that the fuel guage works correctly. No bouncing what so ever. The suspension is solid and the steering is very precise. Now I understand the use of the 17 inch front wheel. You can really feel the upgraded brakes compared to the older model. The only thing I miss is the Corbin seat I had previously. The stock seat is kind of hard.

Mark,

What a great find. Those Givi bags are hard to come by. If it's not to late, you can swap seats as they are interchangeable.
Post a pic of your new bike. We love pics here!!!
