Hello folks,
Painted the upper half of the main faring this weekend after repairing the road rash from my little get off last year at the WCR. While I had the faring off, I rebuilt a bunch of the scoop mounting points and reinforced all mounting points with fiberglass cloth and Plasti-Fix. I have also sealed my tank with POR 15 since Randy found a bunch of rust in my carbs. I'll post up a photo of the bike back together in a few days. I need to wait a few weeks before I can give it a polish, once that happens it should really bring up the gloss. I used the Color Rite paints and Clearcoat.

I actually masked the decals as they are way to much money to replace. I did remove the masking before I clear coated so the red came back and they are nice and shiny again.
That looks amazing!
can't wait to see the finished bike! :good:
