Tomorrow will be a great day! It is starting out with a 300 (round trip) mile ride on the FJ. Then the plan is to jump out of a airplane, ok they will probably be pushing me out. Going prepared with a spare set of under ware. I'm sure obscenities will heard going out the door. We'll see how this adrenaline rush is compared to ripping through the gears on the FJ, or jumping a dirt bike 70 feet. I'm thinking it might be just a bit more of a rush.

You will start with a tandem jump with your instructor on your back, then if you keep with it, progress to a tethered jump and finally a solo.
Limber up....Remember to arch your back or your instructor will remind you with his knee placed in the small of your back.
I did a bunch of static line jumps with Uncle Sam but that was nothing compared to the freefall jumps I did as a civilian.
Look around, don't fixate, beware of sensory overload...Have fun!
Remember: Skydivers are good to the last drop.....

Going to jump out of a perfectly good airoplane :scratch_one-s_head:,, make it real speccy and land on your fj, drop the chute and take off :biggrin:, now that would be a rush :good:
I dated a girl once who was all into some skydiving...i did a tandem jump one time just to get her to stop calling me mean names...... Did i mention i suffer from acrophobia? Come to find out its not an issue above 500 ft ....but below 500 ft its a very big deal!
