...Anyone have those able to get some measurements for me? Maybe take some pictures with a ruler? Thinking of machining my own so I can stick my blue spots on now, rather than wait for 'some time' in the future when I have proper forks.
Measurement of distance between all 4 holes, and thickness of plate, I guess.

I've read that you also need to change the brake discs to the later model FJ.
Bummer really.
Just swap the whole front end to an '88 on, best bet.

The later disks are a different pattern IIRC, and won't bolt onto the early wheels.
Yeah, that would make them pointless, later model rotors don't fit. I'm fairly certain that's not correct, though it *is* difficult to get information on them of any kind, even from the guy that sells them.
Trust me, I'd love to do a complete front end swap. No money. I already have the blue spots though, would be nice to use those in the meantime.

The reason for the bracket is so you don't have to change the discs......these are the early model discs

If you plan on making brackets anyways...........and you already have the calipers, than you already know the dimensions you need.
Just hold the caliper on the bike and see how close you can mount it to the forks. Then make your bracket.
That was the main reason I wanted the brackets, saved changing the standard front too much, but have since bought all the needed items and blue spots cheaper than the brackets,
Related question: Now that I think about it, couldn't brackets be fabbed up that would allow blue spots to fit the rotor of a 17" wheel from the pre-89 fork caliper mounts?
Moderately unrelated question: Are the RPM emulators re-usable? As in, if I gut my forks, and then later decide to get some 89 forks, can I remove the emulator and install them in a second set of forks? I presume yes, just want to make sure there's not something I'm missing. (The original forks would be ruined, though, I think, from having the rod cut, yes?)
I'm sure you could fab up brackets to make anything fit, as for re,using the valves, won't be a problem, you could even use the already cut d rod save hacking another only the lower sliders are different, internals are the same
