Bought my 89 FJ a couple of weeks ago thinking I might ride it for a couple of months and resell it (this is what I explained to the wife) since I thought the price was somewhat of a bargain. Now I have to come up with a reason that I should keep the bike since I already have a couple of others sitting in the garage. What really has me sold is the muscle car like vibe and sounds that comes off this bike once started, and it's got all the rough edges that give it character. First thing is a oil change, I guess I read somewhere that the header (Vance & Hines) has to be dropped in order to do this, EBC HH sintered brake pads, change, the fork oil (any recommendations), and at some point SS brake lines, where do most people get these? Look forward to hanging out with you guys and learning as much as I can...anyone from Ohio on the forum?

Welcome mate, word has it, you can disconect the lower left oil cooler hose from the engine, instead of dropping the exhaust, to drain the oil
