Title: Uni-pod discussion
Post by: McKilla Guerilla on June 01, 2013, 11:27:59 PM
So, I'm going to get my uni-pods from Randy anyway because I got my carb jets in a hurry from him & I'm a sucker for good service, but I do have some questions for anyone that wants to answer.

Is there a specific advantage to the dual filter pods over singles? I know that RPM website states the dual helps with filter wash. Is that confirmed?

Is there a difference between UNI's red filters & black filters?

This question is REALLY stupid, but can I use the last of my K&N filter junk (cleaner & oil) on my Soon to be Uni's or is there some drastic difference where I shouldn't use the K&N stuff?

hello,
I don't thing you can use the K&N Oil as it is for fiber gauze filters, were as the Uni are foam. So you need a foam oil specifically for foam type filters.
Oils are available that can be used on both types of filters.
