Title: do all fj's have a double walled downpipe?
Post by: twostroketerrorist on May 29, 2013, 06:58:47 PM
pretty sure i have a rattling downpipe on my bike, but i read a few places that said it was only the 1100's that have this problem, just want to make sure the 1200's have double walled downpipes as well before i go ahead and remove the exhaust. my bike was manufactured 2-86 if that helps

They do get loose at the head, make sure the nuts are nipped up.

Your right about them getting loose, the ambulance was ticking when I got her, could move one of the pipes at least 5mm from the head
