Title: Clutch Master Cylinder Rebuild
Post by: Jack on May 27, 2013, 06:28:13 PM
I'm rebuilding my '92 FJ 1200 clutch master cylinder for the first time.  My question is about the rubber dust boot that's inside the cylinder above the piston.  I know I'm supposed to remove a circlip, but the rubber boot is in the way. Does the boot just pull out?  I have a replacement, so I could just yank out.   Advice on this would be helpful.  Thanks.

It should just pull out.
