Long night gone, yellow day,
The speed shivers melts away.
Nine o'clock I'm going down,
The coffee's hot and the toast is brown,
Hey! street-fighter, clear my way,
Sweethearts' breakfast the best in town.
Woh o-o-oh, Breakfast at Sweethearts.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=XklVahMDm1A (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XklVahMDm1A#)‎

Is this for couples only General, or can us single riders attend as well,  :empathy: (Single on bike only, still very happily married  :wacko2:)
I've penciled it in, pending anything drastic happening. The FJ has been up on the bike lift (its new home) for the last 2 weeks now, lol, needs a run.

Slight Change of Time for our Brekky Latte Run this Sunday
It`s now on for 10.30AM (Sunday 19th May) at Sweethearts Eudlo due to a number of sleepy heads and the fact that we got quite a few travelling longer distances.
(More than a dozen, incl a few newbies  :yahoo: ) www.sweetheartscafe.com.au/ (http://www.sweetheartscafe.com.au/)‎
I`ve booked a pretty big table so if possible let me know late Saturday or early Sunday if ya can or can`t make it.  (by PM button at the top of this page is fine).
A few have asked the best way in but there are a couple of options and both have nice comfy twisties.
I go by Ilkley road off the Old Bruce hwy via Tanawha. Harvy went via Mooloolah then Palmwoods Mooloolah road. (All Good)

Ummm...Coffee, Tucker & FJ burble... A heavenly relaxing Sunday.  :good2:

Yep, Sunday 10.30 is good, as long as this freakin rain nicks off. (Just have to finish fitting my "Fenda Extenda"  :greeting:)

I might have 1 or 2 "foreign" bikes along, (mate from work with his Hyosung 650 and neighbour with his Yam GTS1000), but they are yet to confirm.

Yeah I know...but but but...I don`t like much for Brekky but I`m starv`n by Smoko!..Gunna order:-

"BIG VEGIE BREKKY" Mushrooms, scrambled eggs on ciabatta or
gluten free toast (with Vegiemite) and local organic mixed greens, avocado, tomato &
feta cheese salad w a side of home made pesto.

Then wash it down with "PURO Organic latte Coffee" (in a mug...WITH A HANDLE!) ....Can`t understand why all tha posch places wanta put it in a glass!
Then shove some paper around it so it won`t burn ya mits off! (How ya suppose to hold ya little pinky out without tha glass slippin through the paper?)... Come ta think of it ...has anyone ever had "non Organic' Coffee?...kinda like Synthetic or Mineral I guess.  ummm... I Have noticed me crutch slippin lately!  :drinks:

Yes, Starbucks. I made him remake it 3 times and realised by the fourth, having stood and watched him make it, that this cats piss he was trying to pass off as coffee was in fact how they made it.

I seriously suggested to him the first time he might have forgotten to put the coffee in, the second time I suggested maybe the machine had run out of coffee.

No wonder they disappeared from Australia.

it was a pleasure finally being able to meet you's in the flesh, thanks Doug for the invite and good luck in the US  baldy, out retirement is hinging on it,he he,,  anyway cant wait to get my fj on the road and to meet you all again, remember these bikes are long term investments with a better projected return than the ASX200, gold and superannuation, so you can never have to many, anyway my wife says , "why do  you like that little black bike"

Jeez, I used to work on those as an apprentice in the '60's. Is it a 305 Dream? How long have you had it for and did you restore it? Pressed steel everything and square shockers. what a beauty.

hi noel, its the 250 , i purchased this as a 61 model but the numbers suggest its a 63/4 model, ive had it for about 18 months  and it came semi restored but every now and then i do a bit more, once a fortnight i start it ,warm it up and run thru the gears, the clutch needs some attention but was riding it a bit before that and it usually starts 1st poke of the button if you start it like the owners manual says, some parts can be expensive/Rare but a year ago i tracked down a NOS speedo , trying to find an original working horn at the moment but not having much luck, next job isto get the bottom of the rear shocks chromed,  apoligies for hijacking the thread
