Title: World wide riding.
Post by: Jeff0308 on April 15, 2013, 10:19:58 PM
I was just reading a few intros from different people, one being Albert in Spain.
Got me thinking. How good would it be if we had the money and could take our bikes and venture around the world riding. I don't reckon we could see it all in a life time.  Love to give it a go if I had the time and money. Nothing wrong with dreaming hey?

Hey Jeff.....I think it's a great idea.......I have had that same dream many times and as recently as the other day........I would likely start the jaunt in the UK........and head East until I got to southern Asia...then Ferry down to Aussie land.....and ferry again across the Pacific to south America and then shoot straight up....probably looking at a 6-8 month trek.....but what stories you would end up with..... :drinks:

I've been fourtunate enough to work around the world and I have to say there are many many places I would NEVER ride a motorcycle at.  I am currently in Nigeria and I would NEVER ride here.  Rules of the road do not apply.  Additionally Brazil, South Africa, Malaysia, Mexico.  Riding a motorcycle in the places you take your life in your hands every time you throw a leg over.   :hang1:

I've ridden in Mexico, it's really not bad, just have keep your head moving, no different than here. Then again, some people say I live in Northern Mexico...  :wacko3:
