Have a '92 that I've owned since new (96,000 miles). Washed it a few days ago and now it doesn't start. Engine turns over but the fuel pump clicks just once. Was running fine before washing. Any ideas?
Maybe you pissed it off by washing it, try putting the dirt back on and see if it starts.
Let it dry a while... you may have gotten something wet that shouldn't be.

Water on the coils would be my guess? Sometime my fuel pump clicks and sometimes it doesn't. Regardless, there should have been enough fuel in the fuel bowls to get the engine started.
Later....
Probably got the coil connectors up under the front of the tank wet. Give it a while to dry out before you panic too much

WD40 on any of the connections may help
I have nothing more to say than what has already been said - but this has happened to me before - while using a bit too much of the power wash hose at a manual carwash. It took about 2 hours with 70 degree weather to get the damn thing to run again. Give it time - in a heated space.
