Welcome and G'day to you Louie, there must be a secrete FJ factory because new members keep joining. And most of them are red and White. Happy to have you aboard the digital nut house.

Well a big thanks to everyone for the welcome. :good2:

So will try and answer all the question here, I got the old girl on gum tree for $800 bargain in any language. :smile:I had to get the brakes and clutch bleed new tyre on the rear gave the carbs a clean and she was sweet to ride. Well almost the forks are in getting the anti dive bypassed straight rate springs .8 and emulators, the rear shock serviced new oil and gassed (work done by Hoey racing this guy is the suspension god in adelaide). Did some new bearing in the suspension too.
So all going well she will be back on the road this weekend, if yamaha come through with the shaft from japan.
I am from adelaide live five minutes from the hills and love every bit of that, the missus love being on the bike as much as me and usually has her gear on before me when I say lets go for a ride, the good part of that is that there is never and probs with me wanting to work on the bikes as she loves them as much as me. I have got some awesome advice from some guys on here already and a big thanks for that with a few more mods she will be awesome, If any one knows the best place for the parts other than ebay and gumtree would love to know. After a few bits if any one has a spare work shop manual they would sell would be good
Cheers Louie

Louie just take your time searching for your parts. You can find some decent deals if your patient. On that note I looked for 3 months for a fzr 87/88 front wheel, finally found one in California. But then again the search is part of the allure for me.

G'day Louie,

Welcome to the group, The search for that elusive part is the fun part. Finding the part and the waiting in anticipation is killer. Receiving the elusive part is pure joy.
