This is not required, unless you enjoy it. I use Bidnip.com it will robo-bid for you up to your max bid with a mere few seconds (specifiable) remaining. I buy fewer and fewer auction items these days, preferring buy it now or Amazon etc. But when an auction is my only option, I typically just use Bidnip to, well, do my bidding... Bwahaha!
Some people enjoy attending to the auction's end, me, not so much.
Dan
Yeah, my problem Dan is if I want something, I'll keep on it and just keep upping my bid, way past my max. :rofl2:

You can set your max to be something crazy-high with bidnip. I don't think it helps necessarily all that much saving you $$, although with last minute bidding it does not typically allow another bidder time to come back and outbid you, so it *may* save a little bit. Plus a more rational/ less irrationally exuberant you, can set that max. The real value of a robo-bidder is avoiding the whole 'I stayed home from work'/ 'up late' to attend the auction-end piece.
Net net, I guess I just don't like auctions... Like I said, I prefer amazon and the like.
Cheers,
Dan
Mmmmm, okay, I'll look into it a give it a go, sounds like it could work for me, (not that I buy much on ebay). Although I was a bit pinged off missing out on a set of really good Wharfdale speakers recently, by a small amount.
I foolishly put a bid on something this week and ended up being the only bidder, told the wife don't worry I won't win it.
Well upto the last second I was it, until a robo bidder saved my life and allowed me to go home in safety
:bye2:
Heh Heh, I've done this as well. You think, oh crap, I've bid waaaayyyy more than I should have, then you are outbid and saved, lol.
