That's the best solution for rego label mounting. They never take them at face value anyway. In Vic they are issued with the renewal notice so are no longer evidence of payment.

Hopefully our rego labels will be a thing of the past soon to. Wonder what club reg permit colours are?

no reg labels here since november, cops always radio the plate number through so dousnt make much difference

What do your rego plates represent, is it like or road tax?  In the uk you need to insure the bike before it is ridden, then have it pass the annual MOT test, then produce both insurance certificate and MOT pass cert to get your tax disk.  You are only allowed to ride without tax if you are on your way to get the MOT done but still need insurance!
